The actress never gives good advice
But still you listen to her bullshit every night
And I’m just sitting flipping through the channels now
But there’s nothing on anyhow
I’ll let you in and you could be my vice
We can dress up and pretend all night
And I’ll be sitting waiting in the backroom now
Wondering why things never work out
I’ll let you in
Figure out what it takes to be your friend
I’ll let go
Call my doctor and tell him I’m coming home
“You call this a home”
Your bones are brittle; your eyes are sockets of fat
Your skin feels nice but there is a product for that
And I’m just sitting waiting on the Baptist
That sad fucker is radioactive
I’ll let you in
Figure out what it takes to be your friend
I’ll let go
Call my doctor and tell him I’m coming home

Just saw these guys/gals live, and they put on a really fun show with lots of energy. This album captures some of that energy, and the vocals and sound have been hashed out perfectly. Wonderful album! Charlie Mayer

Started listening to Diamond Youth because of the member from Trapped Under Ice and have never been disappointed. This is probably their best release tied with Don't Lose your Cool. A.T.L
This Pittsburgh band's gloriously messy mash-up of post-punk, garage rock, and shoegaze is snotty enough to be considered plain old punk. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 2, 2022
These Brighton post-punks keep their music intense and minimal but it retains the joyful, jumpy feel of fizzy guitar pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 13, 2022
