How many shotguns have you shot?
I forgot, it’s a lot
Please smoke pot and try to calm down.
But I’m waiting on your soul
To attach to your backbone
Then run, tell all your friends
Then just leave it alone.
Now you talk the way
You used to talk with me but now with him
and you’ll talk for days
with no result and no conclusion, I’m still confused and alone
But your halo is always going to glow
You stabbed my back with ease
Could you take the knife out please?
While I’m trapped out in the swamp
I’ll just wait and bleed
Sit in my room and rot
With all the windows and doors locked
Your green eyes still bloodshot
You’re a mess, you forgot
You wrote it all on the wall
As a caring caveat
To let yourself know itself
Drunk in a parking lot
Where we first got to talk about thoughts
Of falling in love
Now I’ve got a hockey mask
That I’ve spray-painted black
Cause I’m no copycat
I don’t play like that
But your halo is always going to glow.
Tied up in the backyard
Wondering where the hell you are
From the bottom of my heart say hello to the sharks

it's 1 in the morning and WOW if this album isn't the most sweet as hell record i've left on repeat for a while. feels so very personal, like you're dancing along in the room with them. you GOTTA give this your full attention put in the name for your bandcamp

Started listening to Diamond Youth because of the member from Trapped Under Ice and have never been disappointed. This is probably their best release tied with Don't Lose your Cool. A.T.L
WALL's debut LP is also their last, as the band is no more - bittersweet. Experimental post-punk that works in light & shade. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 1, 2017
